Citroen Nepal has commenced the bookings of the electric eC3 hatchback in the Nepalese market. The eC3 will start from Rs 32.99 Lakh in Nepal. The eC3 electric hatchback features a 29.2kWh battery pack for a claimed ARAI-rated range of up to 320km.The eC3 uses a 29.2 kWh battery pack and a 3.3 kW onboard AC charger. It powers a front-mounted electric motor that develops 56 bhp and 143 Nm. The eC3 can accelerate from 0-60km/h in 6.8 seconds while the top speed is capped at 107kmph. It takes 10.5 hours to charge the battery using a home charger, but it takes just 57 minutes to charge from 10-80% using a DC fast charger.The electric C3 looks largely the same as its ICE-powered sibling. The only difference is the white roof and outer rearview mirrors, and the absence of a tailpipe. There's also a new charging port located on the front fender. The electric hatchback does not feature a blanked-off grille like most EVs.In the Indian market, the Citroen eC3 comes in two variants – Live and Feel. Inside, the eC3 gets a slightly revised centre console and a new drive controller. The eC3 gets similar features as the regular C3 such as the manual AC, 3-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, height adjustable driver’s seat and over 35 connected car features, among others.The Citroen eC3 electric hatchback will launch by July-end. The electric hatchback rivals the likes of the Tata Tiago EV and Tigor EV.
